The Tri-County Animal Shelter is proud to present the Southern Maryland Pet Expo, to be held Saturday, May 3, 2008, at the Calvert County Fairgrounds in Prince Frederick from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. There will be exhibits by The Humane Society of the United States, as well as local and state agencies. Exhibitors will have information on a wide array of topics, including pet disaster planning, pet first aid, pet care, spay/neuter, animal control, rabies, wildlife, and pet adoptions.

Vendors will be on site with pet-related products and services. There will also be animal rescue groups, live animal demonstrations, and door prizes.

Admission is $3.00 for adults. There is a $1.00 discount with a donation of pet food, towels, sheets, blankets, leashes or bleach to benefit the Tri-County Animal Shelter. Admission for children under 12 is $1.00.

Whether you own cats, dogs, birds, ferrets, rabbits, or horses, there will be something for everyone. Please join us for a day of fun and support the animals of Southern Maryland. Please no pets allowed.
