Mike Phillips has not filed for Delegate for District 28, but has filed to run for the Republican ticket for Charles County Commissioner for District 2.

I think its a real shame- we have one really well liked Rep. Candiadate for this district- why would a Republican do that to a fellow Republican? We need reform in both the Commissioners wing and in Annapolis- why did he do this? Please answer Mr Phillips.

I agree with Spirit.  Compare campaign websites and it’s not hard to figure who cares more about the citizens of District 2 and who has done more to help them.

I just dont get it- Rep are having a hard enough time winning against dems- why try to split the vote? It just seems childish or something? I sthere saomething we on the outside do not know? I knoiw Im voting for Rick- his actions have alwasy been what he says- you know where he stands- and he doesnt appolgise- he tries to partner with the whole community base bringing together- non profits, churches, organizations and lastly the Govt to work as a whole- the very best of Republican philosophy- by partnering with many to build community the Govt is smaller and has much less of the investment- the groups pretty much need the a ok from the Govt and have the Govt pass a signiture on a grant- but minimum Govt- more Community effort- and problems are solved.

I don’t get it, either.  Rick Campbell is exactly what Charles County needs for a Commissioner from District 2, and it doesn’t much matter to me what his party line is.

He’s a registered Delusional Duck member and has commented on several threads here on the discussion forums several times.
