Obviously Americans are at the breaking point.  We are tired of the excessive spending, tax increases, false promises, and downright poor management of our resources.  We do not want to live in a Socialist country, and we do not want to have elected officials governing based on special interests.  We do not want to have economic redistribution of wealth.  We should live in a country that promotes wealth based on personal efforts, initiative and plain hard work…not to live in a country that mandates what we can or cannot do.  We should not have to live in a country that excessively taxes the wealth that we earned with our blood, sweat, and tears.

I want to know why Nebraska is able to get a sweetheart medical deal, and the taxpayers in the the other 49 states have to pay for it.  I want to know why Louisianna gets a similar sweetheart deal.  I want to know why I have to pay for these deals here in Maryland.  I want to know why Maryland doesn’t get the same deal that Nebraskan’s are getting.

Why is Steny Hoyer supporting these type of “vote buying” changes to the National Health Care bill? Since he supports these inclusions, Steny Hoyer should be voted out of office in 2010.

It is high time that every politician, local, state, and national start to take the time to understand that they are elected to represent the people, not their friends and special interest groups.

It is time that the people of the state of Maryland take their state back.  We pay one of the highest tax rates in the country, and because of the longevity of the Democratic Party in power in Maryland, they have no one else to blame but themslves.

The citizens are tired of this excessive spending, and it’s high time that we vote every incumbent out of office to send a very strong message to the others that the citizens of this beautiful state deserve better representation.

Here’s my strategy, I’m going to change my affiliation to “Independent”, then I’m going to vote for any Democrat candidate that’s running against the Commissioner from my District and the President during the run up election, then in the general election, I’ll vote for the most conservative candidate no matter what affiliation they are.

We have to do something to get the loads out that are in there now.

Independents cannot vote in either the Democratic or Republican primaries in the state of Maryland.  You must be a registered Democrat to vote the way you indicated you wished to.

Well it was a great idea, while it lasted.

On the same note, while we’re on the topic, “Independent” is an established political affiliation in Maryland. When you register to vote, you can affiliate yourself with either the Republican Party, Democratic Party, Constitution Party, Green Party, Libertarian Party or Independent Party OR you can choose “Not Affiliated,” meaning you decline to join an established political party.

I believe this is a common misconception and most people confuse “Not Affiliated” with “Independent.” I’m willing to bet that most registered Independents in this area registered as an Independent believing they were declining to join an established party.
