Integrity, knowledgeable and fair are a few words I’d use to describe Frank Lancaster. This republican will be voting for him. He has done a marvelous job and brings honor to the position.

Yes, it is the same Vinny. He did not run for the CCDCC. His term ends in October.
You got it, Bill. This is the same weird, little dude who ripped off Ken Robinson’s sign at the Truman-Kennedy dinner. Why he wasn’t canned from the DCC at that point is beyond me, elected position or not. He’s an embarrassment. Mike Phillips should’ve known to keep his yap shut, too, especially when he’s supposed to be a preacherman.
Frank Lancaster has my vote though BECAUSE of this flyer.
Due to the outcome of the election, at some point prior to the 2012 elections, the CCDCC will have to “gender balance.”. If none of the women elected resign, there will be an opportunity for one male appointee.
This vacancy will have to be publicly announced; candidates will have to be screened and interviewed. The members of the committee then select the appointee.
It will be interesting to see that process unfold and the outcome.

This anonymous attack flyer is not only cowardice of the worst sort, it may be illegal if it lacked an authority line. See § 13-401 of the Election law Article, Code of Maryland.
I carry no brief for Judge Lancaster. Our disagreements are professional, not personal.
That said, I’ve interacted with him on quite a few occasions since July. I’ve never seen him conduct himself in the manner described above. If he were predisposed to act that way, I daresay I’d have been on the receiving end of it during the primary.
No one has replied to my inquiry about who supposedly Frank Lancaster assaulted with this remark.
When hearing of this ‘remark’ I sought out Judge Lancaster yesterday and sat and talked with him. He was genuinely appallled. Today when I went back to the fair- he said it had gotten worse (the attacks- I didnt know about the flyers)and was visibly upset by it all.
I for one am tired of this petty fights both in the Republican camp and the Democrat camp. I am close with many in both.
I believe it is a small group of small people on both sides that want more; havent been successful- so the only way (as in the school yard bully)they only can feel powerful is by this crap- and it is crap.
The sole purpose is to spread rumors and try to belittle others.
Putting flyer’s out for the sole purpose to malign is cowardly and against the rules of civil behavior.
I call on every Republican to stop this rumor-mongering and small spiteful behavior. AND AGAIN- which ever Republican this was said to I would like for them to come forward and talk with me. If it wasnt said to a Republican, then we need to stay out of the Democrats business.

No one on the GOP side of the aisle had anything to do with this flyer and I am pretty sure most everyone has agreed on that. As for Phillip’s repeating in print a statement that may or may not have been said by Lancaster, I would consider this reckless at best.
Rumors or not, nothing negates the controversy surrounding the appointment of Lancaster to his current seat and I hope that the upcoming election corrects this miscarriage.
