Department of Community Services Hosts
Annual Bluegrass Concert & Spaghetti Dinner
Featuring Jay Armsworthy & Eastern Tradition
Join us at the Nanjemoy Community Center for our annual Bluegrass Concert & Spaghetti Dinner, rescheduled for Saturday, March 13, 5:30-9:00pm. Our doors will open at 5:00pm. This special event features a delicious spaghetti dinner from 5:30-6:45pm, sponsored by the Nanjemoy Senior Center Council.
The concert will run 7:00-9:00pm, and this year we are featuring Jay Armsworthy & Eastern Tradition. This amazing band plays a variety of “hard-driving” Bluegrass music consisting of traditional Bluegrass, original ballads, energized instrumentals, and old-time gospel. With their own arrangements, Jay Armsworthy & Eastern Tradition insert a “punch” and a “drive” into Bluegrass music that is enthusing audiences of all ages.
Tickets are on sale now at the Nanjemoy Community Center. The cost is $15 in advance/$20 at the door for Charles County residents (non-resident fee is $20 in advance/$25 at the door).
